Merry Christmas

Over the past few weeks, we have been preparing for the arrival of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Now with Christmas two days away, the time has come for us to celebrate and give thanks to God for the best gift that was given and is continually given daily. Christmas is not just about time with family, opening gifts, and enjoying special food, although those are all wonderful things. No, the true meaning of Christmas is the birth of Jesus. It is a celebration of the beginning of our redemption story when Jesus entered into the world to save us from our sins. The gift of Christ is not just something to be celebrated one time a year and then forgotten about every other day. No, we should be celebrating the gift of Christ daily and we should be sharing it with everyone we meet. I am not encouraging you to quit everything you are doing and become one of those aggressive evangelists who pushed the faith on everyone they come in contact with. I believe there is a softer approach that we can all be taking to share God’s love.

How can we share the Spirit of God outside of the Christmas season? In my opinion, the best way to share the love of God is to be as much like God in our actions and our words as we can. You don’t have to stand on the stage to preach the life-altering love of God, it can be done in our small actions daily.
